Agentic Business
The conversation around AI agents has moved faster than actual deployments. The word "agent" covers very different realities, and most organizations have yet to move past the first level. The Agentic Business Report 2026 starts from this observation and turns it into a decision-making method.
The report does not rely on analyst projections. It draws on observed deployments, each documented by multiple dated sources and given an explicit confidence level. One conclusion stands out: what holds back scaling is not model performance. The barrier is organizational. It lies in data reliability, in the mandate given to the agent, and in supervision and compliance.
Across ten sections, the report sets out a shared vocabulary and a reading framework, the CODA matrix. It identifies the four barriers to delegation and maps the solutions available on the market. It also lays out the seven decisions to make before delegating, organized as a flywheel, along with a framework for choosing whether to build, buy or orchestrate.
The report is written for executive committees, business unit leaders and CIOs, as well as risk, legal and HR functions. It is meant for everyone who must make decisions before delegation takes hold without a framework.
